Fragrant Gardenias & Sweet Cherries

The miniature gardenia plant that I've been fussing over for the past month (morning misting, coffee grounds fertilizer) finally bloomed this week...

And even though the flowers are relatively small, I could smell them this morning as I walked into the kitchen.

 Cherries also made their first appearance at this week's farmers' market -

Here I Am!

 Have been spending wonderful evenings and weekends away from the computer, on the deck and in the yard, moving plants around and generally cleaning things up......
Great progress on the window box planter just outside the kitchen windows!

 

The row of bromeliad urns even looks great from inside the kitchen.....

Hope to finish up the deck over the weekend and then we head into the backyard.....
