Backyard Asparagus

Has made its annual appearance.
The asparagus crowns that send up these luscious spears every spring were planted in our backyard garden over 20 years ago.
Welcome Spring! - Good eating ahead.....

  1. As I sit here surrounded by wet heavy snow all I can think is that is the prettiest picture I've ever seen. I think I'll stare for a while.

    1. Grew up on the Eastern seaboard, and would have a very difficult time dealing with snowy winters again.
